The Tilting Screen Deck featured in the 78 Static model incorporates the same advanced technology as our 78VFRB series. This innovative system offers precise control over material flow on the screen deck, ensuring seamless and efficient operation. By allowing direct contact between the bucket and the screen deck, operators can easily maneuver and manage materials without interrupting the screening process. This system is engineered to deliver reliable performance, even when handling the most demanding materials.
The Spring Suspension System in the 78 Static is engineered to enhance the dynamic movement of the screen deck, allowing it to operate in a harmonic motion that efficiently moves material across the screen. This optimized motion ensures a faster and more precise screening process compared to traditional Grizzly screeners, where rocks and debris can frequently become lodged. The Spring Suspension System reduces the risk of clogging, ensuring smoother and more reliable operations.
Portability is another key component to production and productivity when using compact equipment to feed a portable screener. Keeping the screener close to the pile being screened cuts travel time back and forth to the pile resulting in higher production and higher profits.
Like other models in our range, the 78 Static offers optional accessories, including Bucket Transport Lugs, available at an additional cost. These lugs simplify the transportation and movement of the screener, ensuring smooth and hassle-free mobility, even in challenging or confined locations. This feature enhances the machine’s portability, making it easier to navigate difficult job sites with greater efficiency.
The Riser Box is engineered to enhance productivity by enabling the handling of larger volumes of material, ultimately improving the efficiency of your screening operations. Additionally, it stabilizes the screener’s movement, ensuring smoother and more consistent performance.
Equipped with winches and 2-inch straps, the Riser Box can be easily installed or removed in under five minutes, offering a convenient and practical upgrade to your equipment.
We offer a wide range of mesh that are quick and easily changed.The ability to install large and small high quality mesh makes DeSite SLG Screeners a time saver and money maker. We offer both square and elongated mesh pattern in a double lock crimp weave. Our double lock weave puts two crimps in each wire as they intersect, This creates a strong weave and a stronger, more stable mesh.

Love my machine I’m in California it’s very portable I screen manure compost and topsoil since I’m in California, We always have carb checking to see if you have an updated motors so with this set up I have a Honda generator. It runs the vibrations, so Ino longer have to deal with carb, I can put it in my dump trailer move it to different jobs. I run the machine all by myself. Easy to set up and cheap to run. Love my machine.

Everyone who see’s it is in awe at the build quality, the welds look like rolls of dimes, they’re gorgeous… You won’t regret buying ANY of Columbia’s products… I know I sure don’t!!!!

I have the desite 78 and can do 30 to 35 yards an hour with my 3 yard loader . I have done hundreds and hundreds of yards of topsoil in the last 3 years with zero problems with it . Great working screener for small operators in my opinion.
